La Goma in Granada

"My sense having eaten there for lunch, was that this place was more than just the vegan food. It was the ambiance and the casual feel of the place. In the evening with music, even more so. The food changes quite frequently and is based around culinary themes. This time for us it was Mexican. We had a complementary Hummus Tapa initially, followed by the Quesadillas de Championones, Tacos al Pastor, and the Tarta de Chocolate y Arándanos. All tasted lovely. All for 17 euros too. The service was excellent (English too). Nice enough house wine at 2.80 euros a glass."

"We went here for lunch, and overall it is a very nice spot. It's centrally located, and is very trendy with the décor and the artwork displayed. It has mid-range prices and the portions are on the smaller-side, but it's certainly not overpriced. The food was nice, but the chocolate cake in particular was delicious and gets a 10/10. It's quite a warm restaurant, so I would also be cautious of going in the height of summer (no aircon, and closed door policy). Otherwise, I recommend it and would definitely go back."

"We've eaten twice at La Goma in our few days in Granada and both times we've been delighted. The menu appears to change daily. Both times there were 4 dishes to choose from, which we love. It keeps it simple and it usually means the food is going to be done very well because the kitchen isn't spreading itself too thin. So far we've had croquettes, a chickpea stew, a vindaloo and lasagna. All vegan, all very fresh and all tasted great. The cost each time, including drinks was less than 20 euros for the two of us, which is fabulous value. The staff were lovely, very helpful in explaining the menu to us. This is a place that's worth seeking out."
